You ars so much braver than me. Cows frighten me.
I grew up on a sheep ranch and cows scared me, too. But, I'm pretty much over it now.... except..... when an old mother cow takes out after me and then I head for the fence. I'm pretty fast at going through a barbed wire fence!!!! lol
Hi Cowgirl Annie,
In my youth back in Ohio, I had to milk, feed and round up cows to the milking stations. I know wher you are coming from .

I grew up on a sheep ranch and the cows became part of my life since 2001 when my Hubby and I decided to go into the cow business. Now... it is more of a tax write-off than making a living.
I did milk one cow when I was young. Her name was Bossy and she was very easy to milk. She was the only one of our cows that I could get milk out of. She really didn't give milk, but more half n' half. lol
Our cows are in their calving season. I like them better when they aren't giving me the 'don't even think about going near my baby' look!
I know that look. But, there have been a few times when I just risk my life and went near it anyway. Once, the baby fell in the creek and the mom was almost nose to nose with me as I saved her baby. I've accidentally gotten between a mom and her baby and wow... I was running for my life. lol
good post Annie, hope you are feeling better
Hi dear Hazel. I wish I were feeling better, but I'm not. I went to town today for physical therapy and that just about did me in. Even with pain pills... I still hurt. I've narrowed the second opinion doctor down to two choices. Now, I just have to make the right choice.
Love & (((hugs))) Annie :o)
That was my life for eighteen years. Sometimes I still long for it.
I told someone on one of my blogs that it is a love/hate relationship. In good weather... I really enjoy the cows. In bad weather... I'm reading to sell the cows.
great pics annie
lol how cute are cows? They just chill out..
