I guess I'm getting old and set in my ways, but sometimes I think most of the world have lost their minds. I hear all the arguing over politics, religion, race, etc., and I can't understand why the disagreements. Like I said, I'm stuck in my ways and I think my way is the right way. And... that really makes sense, because why would I think a certain way if I thought it the wrong way? Now that would be crazy.
I've just about decided that I'm never going to do or say anything to change anyone else's viewpoint and I don't think anyone will change my viewpoint. Although, there are a few areas that are still grey for me and I am not sure what to think. But, I'm not going to tell you what those areas are because I would have someone trying to influence me one way or the other. I'd rather try to figure it out for myself.
There is one fact I know for certain.... that I don't really know everything and never will know everything.
Yes, this is a crazy blog... but then.. just count me as another person in this world who has gone crazy.

Ok, I understand.
I guess when we get older, certain things matter to us more (or we finally understand it more in my case. lol).
Wow.. I didn't expect this midnight blog to get this many comments. I was just a little steamed at an e-mail I had received from a family member and out of it came this rant. lol I'm glad I found soooo many sympathetic souls. Annie :o)

I am younger and have always wondered the same thing! What I tell my children and I may be crazy too is that " we all bleed red". Should be more kindness than ugly arguing! I can dream of a better place to raise my childen! I have gone crazy also - your not alone!

What is so frustrating is that our children will not listen and learn from our many years of getting it wrong the first time. When I see them making or about to make some of the same mistakes I made, I try to tell them; but, of course, they never listern. But, then, I never listened to my parents either. When we are young, we think we have all the answers. When we get to middle age, we realize how little we really know about anything; now, I'm getting close to that point when I won't even be able to remember the question!!! Not crazy, Annie. Just the cycle of life!

Hey, I have an opinion and glad to share it.
it's why I have a blog! <grin>
take what works and leave the rest. grey areas are tough tho. I have an interesting tactic.
1. if it is truth because "the bible" says it and you think jesus said it, I usually will rule you out.
2. if it is hatred hiding as truth, I rule it out.
3. if it goes against what the majority are espousing, I will listen to you for a moment.
4. if you feel crazy to me, I will listen to you longer.
I hate a friend who had a friend who said this to her and I now live by it:
"You are stark raving mad. I love that in a person".
rant on. rant on. you are less crazy than most. Most "crazy" people won't consider the fact that they might be "crazy". <grin>
