Solitude

Little do men perceive what solitude is, and how far it extendeth.
For a crowd is not company, and faces are but a gallery of pictures,
and talk but a tinkling cymbal, where there is no love.

I know you are alone a lot. But love does surround you, Annie! Solitude can also be very peaceful. I hope you can feel some of that, too.

I find a lot of peace here on the ranch.  Today, I sat in my rocking chair by the open window.  As the breezes drifted in, I could smell the juniper and pine.  On that breeze floated the songs of birds.  It was really nice.  :o)
